DOC EN STOCK, is one of France’s leading independent documentary production company. It was created in 1994 by the awarded documentary-maker Daniel Leconte (director and producer)
Founded in Paris, DOC EN STOCK produced more than 400 documentaries on current affairs, history, society, politics, culture…
Shortly after its creation DOC EN STOCK set up a special department to handle international sales and keep track of broadcasting rights. Numerous TV networks around the globe have put their trust in DOC EN STOCK. They became faithful partners and often broadcast films produced by our teams. Our latest work includes co-productions or presales with ARTE, FRANCE TV, CANAL +, NBC Universal, TV5, History Channel, TSR, RTBF, TVE, DR, ALJEZEERA, PHOENIX, RADIO CANADA…

In 2009, DOC EN STOCK produced television events such as “The mystery of Twins”;, a prime-time fiction documentary for FRANCE TV channel directed by award-wining director Nils Tavernier and  a thrilling historical series “Making of a Leader” (ARTE / SAGRERA ). Franco-German broadcaster ARTE is DOC EN STOCK’s principal partner and coproduces more than 16 films a year, mainly for the prime time slot “Thema”.
DOC EN STOCK is currently developing a series of different projects.

Its twin company, FILM EN STOCK, created in January 2001, specializes in fiction films for television and cinema. FILM EN STOCK’s first production was “Princess Bonaparte”, a two part TV fiction featuring France’s international movie star Catherine Deneuve. Since then, many different fiction projects for television and theatre release were successfully carried out. Year 2008 It's Hard Beeing loved by Jerks feature documentary directed by Daniel Leconte was officially selected by various festival including Cannes and New York Film Festival. Year 2009/2010 FILM EN STOCK produced Olivier ASSAYAS latest work entitled “Carlos, the Jackal”, a movie based on real life of international terrorist Carlos featuring Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez. The World Premier of this serial fiction is shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
